Follow me as I take you on a journey of international terror and espionage. Join us for the ride as we follow the Chase family as they save the country and the world from the worst of the worst, whose mission is to see the United States fall.
Travel from a hovel in Eastern Europe through the mind of an international killer to the plush boardrooms of corporate America. After the collapse of the Soviet Republic, a former Soviet spy peddles his skills to the highest bidder.
Now applying those skills on the battleground of corporate America to steal secret military technology, possibly leading to world-altering consequences and the next World War.
Lurking in his mind is a yearning to kill as punishment for past deeds. Is he also the international serial killer they are hunting for? Or is it someone from his past?
Hiding in the shadows, others play a cat-and-mouse game of one-upmanship. A former CIA agent is brought out of retirement to chase his old foe. The currency they deal in is blood.
This is the second book in the series following the heroic Chase family. At an earlier time, during the Vietnam War and the Free Love movement of the 1970s, it was followed by the cousin of Charles Chase, CEO of Chase Aerospace, Wesleyan Waverly Chase. He is battling demons in his mind from his experience during the war. A memory haunts him of a young girl, Tuyen, whom he tried to save, carrying her as he ran during a friendly fire shelling of the village they were sent to gather intelligence.
Recovering from his wounds after being released from a North Vietnamese prison, he attempts to return to his old life before the war. Offered a position at an English Ambassadorial College in the United States, he meets a woman, a princess of sorts, cousin to the Queen of England. He begins a romance and then is dragged into a world-tramping adventure. British and American intelligence agencies tapped into his unique skills and talents to solve a deadly mystery and prevent the outbreak of World War III.
As you read this novel, play music from the late 1960s and early 1970s to capture the perspective of a beautiful yet explosive time in world History. The final adventure is capturing a German World War II submarine containing the first atomic bomb. Developed by the Nazis before Germany surrendered, it was sent to the Empire of Japan but never made it.
This is the third book in the Chase Family series. As the main characters attempt to get on with the business of living, they are again drawn into international intrigue and danger, where their special resources are desperately needed again. Called upon by the CIA, Charles Chase and his band of skilled companions rush to keep a world-killing terrorist from executing his deadly plan of death.
His goal is to punish nations that supported the creation of the nation-state of Israel. Now aware of his deadly plan with millions of lives at stake, Charles takes his band of heroes into the fires of hell to stop this madman from achieving his evil goal.
The resurgence of an old enemy is bound to add intrigues and confusion to the mission at hand. Thanks to a returning veteran, now an FBI agent from the war on terror. He recognizes the terrorist’s handiwork from his killing of thousands in the years before, while perfecting his deadly craft on innocents.
Here before you is the life, the love, and the great adventure of Taris, Lord of the Britain’s. Before King Arthur, a great King whose many deeds are overshadowed by the legends of King Arthur. In this tale, I aim to bring to life the life and great deeds of King Taris. Step back in time and relive the life of this great King. Travel with him as he struggles with faith, love, and courage. Share in the battles as he tries to hold a fragile Roman Britain and its peoples together. Relive a time when King wanted to be nothing more than a man and a God that wanted him to be a King.
Throughout the collective history of human civilization, we are left with an imprint or memory of a turbulent past. If you were taught the history of the world as I was, man ascended as a civilized being approximately 8000 years ago. That includes the caveman to the Iron Age.
According to science, modern humans have been around for only 200,000 years. That man had the same brain and features as we do today. Shave him, bathe him, put him in a suit, and he could probably pass as an average person. I doubt if he would speak the language, and he probably has less accumulated heavy metals in his organs, but yes, he is us.
Most authorities agree that the world population was about 3-4 million around 10000 BC and today, roughly around 6 billion. If we evolved to our higher-order starting 200,000 years ago, and by the year 10,000 BC we were 4 million, that means in 188,000 years we grew only 4 million. In the past 12,000 years, we have grown to 5.996 billion!
So what happened that suppressed the human population, or just maybe the creationists are right? What if we were created 12,000 years ago and then wiped out by a global deluge 4000 years later? These thoughts are the basis for my story. What was it like before the flood? What were the creatures like, and what was man’s interaction? What kind of magical world was it? What did it take for man and magical creature alike to coexist? Were Neanderthals magical dwarves from some ancient collective memory? Did dragons darken the skies? Did ancient angels mate with human women, and were the magical creatures their combined offspring? Like every story, there has to be a beginning.
Reaper of Worlds is that beginning. It begins in modern times and weaves its way with more stories to come. Nevertheless, here you will meet all the characters who will tell the tale from my research and imagination. Just imagine what if it's all true, and maybe they are not dead, just asleep, waiting for someone or something to awaken them! Waiting for you!
King's Prayer before Battle
By R L Karlowsky
Time was not long ago, I saw my friends in joy, when say no man betrayed another.
Yet these lowly years have carried the darkness, like ravens breast upon the souls of many.
Wallow in the blood in this darkness veil, takes my friend, my brother, and my father.
Lo I have felt the winged carrier of death at my own step, these many days.
Now is the time all men dread, comes to the end of days, for no purpose, serve man.
Yet, I have seen much, not woven by my hand, inasmuch; I give thanks, by yours.
Now the cup is poured empty, the vine shrivels, and the carrion feast on its remains.
Grant me that wisdom before the night of my last day if it pleases you in mercy prayer.
Guide my hand, for in righteous name who follows, save honor.
On this day, the savage dread comes haste, bear my strength to honor my name.
Should your will be this day my last, then let savage conscience flee, and let it be yours at full.

Dr. R L Karlowsky
A Retired former teacher and Adjunct university faculty member. My military service shaped my earliest days. After the Military, I went on to achieve my bachelor's degree, master's, and continued in pursuit of my Doctorate. I wrote short stories and was always fascinated by history and science fiction. In a sense, to me, they seemed almost inseparable. As we grew as a civilization, technology was always what led the way.
I produced my first novel, Taris (Lord of Britain’s), which met with modest success. It was my first attempt to weave a good story. I have written poems and musings that have been met with wonderful enthusiasm. Some are on the web and can be found with a simple search. Others have been published in cooperative volumes. Ultimately, my goal was to create stories that would engulf the reader and identify with the characters. I write to teach, always looking for the good in my characters as they struggle to overcome adversity. My novels usually require extensive research and travel. Reaper took seven years to write. I have invested many years of research to weave stories that will capture your imagination and maybe entertain you. Thank you for reading my stories.
